Make A Modern Kimono, 8/2/25 (class 1 of 2)

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Put a modern twist on the kimono. You’ll learn to create double-sided seams using an ancient Korean textile art form that is both beautiful and utilitarian known as pojagi. Truly express your individuality by using your most treasured scraps. You’ll love all the compliments you receive when wearing this one-of-a-kind treasure!
Session 1: Determine pattern size and create pojagi slab
Session 2: Cutting and sewing including darts, sleeves, etc.
Students need to be comfortable using their sewing machine.
Note: Not all students will finish the kimono in 2 sessions.
For students wanting further guidance beyond the class time, be sure to sign up for the Sit and Sew On…..!
